Agriculture Lesson

Mary Allmendinger came in to talk to the 2nd graders about agriculture. The students learned where the ingredients for pizza come from. They also learned about all the different crops that grow around the area and the materials made from them. Click here to see the pictures!

Officer Phil

Officer Phil came to our school to remind us of how to be safe both in and out of school! Officer Phil reminded us how we should respect others, not be bullies and report bullies too. He also went over with is how to take care of our bodies by eating healthy.  Huge thanks to the Van Wert Police Department and all of those that helped make it possible for him to come in. Nurse Nancy reviewed with the 2nd graders the importance of washing your hands! With all the germs going around it was a very important lesson to review.

A few tips she had for them where:

Wash for 20 seconds- sing yourself Happy Birthday two times!

Get your wrists, the back of your hand and your nails!

Box Tops!

Don't forget to bring in any Box Tops you have at home! Help your class collect the most!!
