09/01/10 School Pictures | ||||
| School pictures will be take on Friday, September 10th. All students will have pictures taken for the yearbook even if they do not purchase a picture package. Watch for picture envelopes to come home with students.

08/23/10 VWMS holds Open House/Orientation | ||||
| VWMS hosted its 6th grade Open House & Orientation on Wednesday, August 18th and enjoyed seeing over 90 percent participation from the incoming 6th grade class of 2017. The VWMS Cougar Mentor Team (CMT) played a key role in the orientation in helping 6th grade students get ready for the opening of school. This "Kids helping Kids" team at the middle school is an active group in assisting other students around school. Middle School 6th grade teachers volunteered their time to come in and work with the new students. Mr. Bagley and Mrs. Dunlap, the principal and assistant principal, hosted a parent coffee for all parents of incoming 6th graders. On Thursday, August 19th 7th & 8th grade students also enjoyed an Open House. 7th & 8th grade teachers were on hand to welcome parents and students as everyone is getting ready for a great school year. The first day of school for all Van Wert City School students is Wednesday, August 25th. |

08/04/10 Student Football Season Passes | ||||
| Student Football Season Passes will be on sale Wednesday & Thursday, August 25th & 26th during student lunches in the Athletic office. Forms will go home with students on the first day of school. Passes are $20 and will be good for all home games. Individual game presale tickets for students are $4.00 and will be sold each Thursday at lunch in the Athletic office. All tickets at the gate are $6.00. The first home Varsity Football game is Friday, August 27th at 7:30pm.
